KUALA LUMPUR: NCT Alliance Bhd has launched a new vaccine incentive campaign Vax & Win, as part of the company's corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme to contribute towards the fight against Covid-19 by achieving herd immunity.
NCT Alliance executive chairman and group managing director Datuk Seri Yap Ngan Choy said the recent vaccination rates in Malaysia has been encouraging.
"However, we are well aware that there is a need to boost registration and uptake of the vaccination further to curb the spread of Covid-19.
"Through Vax & Win, we want to show appreciation to those who have taken the necessary steps to work together to achieve herd immunity by getting themselves vaccinated.
"We hope that the campaign with its attractive prizes will act as an effective incentive to encourage more Malaysians to complete both doses of the COVID-19 vaccination.
"With this in mind, we are also vaccinating all NCT Alliance employees to ensure herd immunity is achieved as soon as possible," he said in a statement today.
The lucky draw campaign was launched by Malacca chief minister Datuk Seri Sulaiman Md Ali today.
NCT Alliance is offering a wide range of attractive prizes, with a unit of Ion Forte Green City in Melaka worth RM423,800 as the grand prize for the first one million participants.
Should the number of registrations exceed two million, one unit of Grand Ion Majestic in Genting Highlands, Pahang worth, RM 570,000 will be given out.
Participants will also have the opportunity to win attractive monthly prizes throughout the duration of the campaign, including a one-night stay at Grand Ion Delemen Hotel, in Genting Highlands, Pahang and a variety of home and electronic appliances, it said.
In total, there will be ten monthly prizes up for grabs. Additionally, to encourage more Malaccans to complete their Covid-19 vaccinations, five monthly prizes will be exclusively allocated for residents of Melaka.
